We believe that the church best functions for God's glory when Christians are living in community with one another, when we are not living lives of isolation but rather involvement.

The Bible often pictures the Church as sheep with Christ as the Shepherd. That picture is one of nurture where the flock of God feeds together, moves together, and lives together in love. Thus, we desire to live life together, growing with one another, struggling with one another, spurring each other on through the priority of nurture.

One of the key ways we seek to nurture one another is through "flocks." Every member and regular attender at APC is assigned an elder and deacon to assist in the nurture and care of God's people. As members of this community of believers, we encourage individuals to care for and nurture one another.
